At the Prophetic DAO incubator

For the last few days I have been at a conference, the Prophetic DAO Incubator https://www.propheticdao.com/ on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. Many of the people here are old friends, mostly people that I have met on Zoom calls. I am a bit out of my depth,as many of the conversations are a bit tecky, on how to create a DAO or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations online. But it’s worthwhile. So many good ideas floating around and great people. How to create a foundation for a Bioregionalon project or other community projects.

This conference will help to revitalise our own Piscabamba River watershed project. For sure, we will need to create a new economic platform that keeps our money within our community. We do have a local crypto currency waiting but we never launched it. It will take so much work to create the community awareness to introduce this token.

In the meantime, in Tumianuma, a small village just outside Vilcabamba we are working towards a food sovereign watershed. There are now thirty gardens in our little community in Tumianuma. The dream is to spread this to the surrounding communities. This is a first step towards creating our sovereign Bioregion. .
